Present Preoccupations
T. De Los Reyes is the founder and curator of Read A Little Poetry, an independent, living archive of poems that has been running for two decades. It started as a digital commonplace book for works found, read, and loved through the years, intended to hold poets to the light alongside experiences of being human. Since its inception in 2005, the site has been praised, quoted in, referenced, and linked to in numerous publications and media, such as The Guardian and BuzzFeed. A true passion project spanning two decades, it has grown into a thriving community of thousands of poetry lovers, readers, writers, and educators around the world.
Her Substack, Poet’s Field Notes, is a newsletter on writing and the creative life. She serves as a community teaching assistant for Modern and Contemporary American Poetry (ModPo), a highly successful massive open online course offered through Coursera by the University of Pennsylvania, taught by Al Filreis for the past decade. She is the designer of Nowruz Journal, a finalist for the 2022 CLMP Firecracker Award in Magazines/Best Debut.
De Los Reyes started Possibilities in 2008 when she was just 22 years old. Named after an Emily Dickinson poem, the multidisciplinary studio practices human-centred design and works at the intersection of language, visual identity, and digital space—with care, depth, and clarity at the centre of every project. It is built for writers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs daring to do it differently. She has also embarked on a journey to become a stationer and opened And Other Loves in 2021.
With a heart for advocacy, she co-created Bayanihan Online, a group organising information about Philippine disaster relief and rescue efforts. Emerged during the aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) in 2009, the central data hub coordinates with NGOs, schools, media personnel and government agencies alike.
